We just popped into the #12 rank in size out of over 61,000 Star Citizen Organizations. That's big a milestone for us. In addition, Orgs can designate their primary interests on the RSI site and we are the #1 Transport focused Org and the #4 with a Security focus.
With the release of the Star Citizen Alpha 3.0 to a wider group of testers, many in PXP are now playing and some are even streaming their bug-smashing adventures. Hit up the Mumble server to see if anyone is currently streaming if you are interested. If you'd like to stream on the PXP official Youtube channel yourself, contact Flexo and we'll get you set up. It's easier than you think.

Major Star Citizen Hurdles passed. Sixty players in one area!
Some of the last major concerns with Star Citizen have been centered around the number of players that will be able to interact in the same area. Evocati testers just helped pass a major milestone of getting 60 ships in the same space with acceptable performance (20-30 FPS). There is more optimization to be done but this definitely is big news and will put to rest most of the doubters.
I was on record as saying that network code will make or break this game and now I feel much better. I still hope to see 100+ players in the same area but this is a major relief to me. Sixty players in the alpha stage is right where they need to be.
Here is a screenshot of many player-owned ships near Olisar (from a Reddit leak).

We are Pioneer people!
The fund drive for the Pioneer colony ship was a success. With the combination of the Warbond sale and the generousity of a member donating use of a 20% discount code, we were able to get the ship and have about $200 left over. We'll use that money for prizes in future events or for our next group ship buy.
Thank you so much to those of you that donated. We had large and small donations and they all were important to get us this ship. It will surely generate a lot of missions and fun for us in the Universe. Can't wait to see our first base go up!
Here is a video about the Pioneer from some hack on YouTube:
